Greetings all Members,

Time to sign up for the Gr7 SAREX the weekend of January 25 -26.  Located at the "Miller Memorial Mission Base -KFUL-(SQ 40-56 Hangar) Fullerton airport Fullerton Ca,

Put into practice what we all have learned and trained for. Finish up an ES rating, get tasks signed off, or re-qualify a soon-to-expire rating.

FIRST AND FOREMOST. THE ONLY OFFICIAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE OPERATIONS OF THE SAREX. WILL COME TO YOU FROM THE IC- LT COL POWEL, THE PSC CAPT RANZUGLIA, OR MYSELF PROJECT OFFICER  2DLT BELTRAN-WINCHESTER.

Muster time: 0730 hrs. SAT AND SUN. DISMISAL CAN HAPPEN AS LATE AS 1800HRS.  You need to sign in and out of the mission each day when you get on-site and before you leave for the day.

THE RAIN / UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCE POSTPONE DATE IS: FEB 1-2, 2025, I will send out a notification email should this contingency be needed.

CADETS: fill out and print the attached CAPF 60-80 / CAPF-160 / CAPF-161 / AND CAPF-163 with you to the SAREX. You will hand in your 60-80 to the check-in attendant. show the check-in attendant the 160-161-163, then place them in your front right cargo pant leg pocket. 

SENIOR MEMBERS: Fill out and print the attached CAPF 60-80 / CAPF-160 / CAPF-161 / AND CAPF-163 with you to the SAREX. Place them in your front right cargo pant leg pocket. A helpful piece of information to carry on your person as well. A list of prescription medications, the dosage and when you take them. This is useful information for medical response personnel.  This is so all members know where to find your medical release papers in case of medical emergencies, and you are unable to respond.

ALL MEMBERS: BE SURE TO BRING YOUR CAP ID AND A CURRENT PRINTED 101 CARD WITH YOU.

Lunch and refreshments will be available on-site during the SAREX.  $15.00 for each day for both refreshments and lunch.  $5.00 each day for refreshments only.

We are planning on holding an ICUT class each morning. We will update you if that plan changes.  We are not offering any FAM & PREP for any ratings. Need to have TRAINEE status for SQTRs tasks to be signed off.

Be sure your 24-hour mission bags are ready to go. Ground Teams, this includes UAS Teams, be prepared to eat out of Bag. You could be in the field at lunchtime. if you buy in to lunch it will be waiting for you when you get back to base. be prepared. water bottles, sunscreen, ChapStick, and appropriate layers for daily weather conditions.

For those members who have not taken the DSW (Disaster Services Worker) Oath. We will have a CAP Notary on-site in the mornings. The instructions and the DSW application are attached to this email. fill out the application and print it. Bring it with you to the SAREX. CADETS, you will need your parents' signature on the application. You will need a parent or guardian to sign with the Notary on the morning you take the oath.
